Werdflex Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 27, 2026

Werdflex uses a small amount of local storage and third-party services to run the game, support the leaderboard, measure app usage, and show ads.

Data stored on your device

Werdflex stores the following data locally on your device:

Data sent to online services

Werdflex uses Firebase and Google AdMob.

Firebase may be used to:

Your golden letter selections are synced to Firebase when you apply them, associated only with your randomly generated device identifier — not your name or any account.

If you submit a leaderboard score, Werdflex sends:

Google AdMob may collect device and advertising-related data to deliver ads, measure ad performance, and help prevent fraud.

Device identifier

When you first open Werdflex, a random identifier (UUID) is generated and stored on your device. It is not linked to your name, email, or any account. It is used to store your golden letter selections in Firebase and may be included with leaderboard submissions to prevent duplicate entries.

Optional leaderboard submission

Submitting to the leaderboard is optional. If you do not submit a score, your name is not sent for leaderboard storage. Your personal stats and streak remain on your device only.

Your choices

You can reset your local game data and stats from within the app. Doing so also removes your golden letter data from Firebase. You can also choose not to submit leaderboard entries.
